The Millers

I thought I would start off by sharing some of who we are. Well we are the Millers! There is 6 of us and one on the way!

My husband is Karsten. When I first think of Karsten the first thing that comes to mind is his love and zeal for the Lord. He actually loves to blog which is quite unlike his wife! He likes to watch movies and spend time with his family. Karsten is also by the grace of God a caring, loving, patient and gracious man.

Then we have Isaiah. He is our 6 year old. One word to describe Isaiah would be DRAMATIC! I truly think he get's that from his dad... Most people tend to see the side of Isaiah that is quiet to an extent and slightly reserved. But at home he is quite dramatic. He is also quite silly and makes us laugh all the time by making up stories and acting out stories he's heard. Of course with the Isaiah spin on it! Isaiah is my first born, my first experience with motherhood-an instant wake up call!

Then there is Elijah. He is our 5 year old. One word to describe him would be ACTIVE! Elijah would climb over everything in this house if we let him. He is always the first to run to the monkey bars when we go to the park and always the one jumping off the highest thing at the park. He is also obsessed with numbers. There is not a day that goes by in this house without that boy mentioning numbers to me or to anyone who will listen for that matter. I often wonder if there was a connection between the doctors thinking he was autistic and his love for numbers. I am quite sure since he has been cleared of that, that the WHOLE time he wasn't talking much and paying any attention to us when he was little he had to be focused on numbers LOL!

And now there is David. He is our three year old. If I had to describe him in one word it would be mello-dramatic. (is that really a word or even one word?) David is the only one in the house who will come lay on you and just relax to watch a movie or read a book or just for no reason at all. But he is also the one that when he is upset or hurt he is majorly dramatic. He is highly affectionate and a big time talker. I remember always saying my older two never talked in the car they just rode and never asked much questions then we had David. If I had known what I know now I would have just treasured the quiet car rides because they are all over NOW! David never ever let's you ride in the car quietly. He is either asking you something about what he see's or telling you what he see's. He is alot like Isaiah who talked from a young age and kept going!
And then there is Timothy! He is our 21month old. Timothy is well BUSY and strong willed. He is alot like Elijah but also different in some ways. Timothy has brought alot of fun and joy to our family. He absolutely loves to dance and no matter what song is playing he is dancing. And most days Tim usually wake up with a smile on his face. He is just overall a happy little boy...until he wants his way! And then that is when the strong will comes out!
And last there is me. I obviously am married to Karsten. And together we have four boys. Like I said earlier we are expecting another baby in March. However we don't know what we are having. So we shall see... I love the Lord simply because he has saved me from my sin, not because of anything special or good in me but simply because he is gracious. Some know what I used to be and some hear of what I used to be and marvel at God's goodness! I marvel at his goodness too. I love my husband and my boys none of which I deserve which makes them both such a great blessing. I homeschool our boys, am the keeper of our home and love having fellowship at our home (well since I got pregnant I love the idea of it!).

That's a small portion of who the Millers are! I hope to share much more about our Lord, and our lives stay tuned....

Blogger...who me?

Writing has never been a strong suit of mine. I never liked it in school or for recreation. So the idea of blogging seemed well ummm not so exciting! Thoughts like what could I actually write about and who would actually care anyway came to my mind LOL! But over time with getting questions about our boys and how do we do it with four and we must be crazy and then add in homeschooling, I figured I have plenty to write about ! And if no one else cares except my husband and my friend MR (who encouraged me to go ahead!) I wanted my children to be able to look back on our homeschool journey as well as our life journey as they get older just in case my mind fails me as it often does already. So here the journey begins....
